2. Website hosting and server logs
When you visit the site, the hosting provider STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin processes technical request data, including your IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser and operating system information, and HTTP status code. This is needed to deliver the site securely, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and reliable website operation.
Server location: Deutschland. Our server log retention period: keine dauerhafte Speicherung eigener Server-Logfiles. Any additional provider logs are governed by the provider’s privacy terms and our data processing agreement.
3. Contact by email, phone or contact form
If you contact us, we process the contact details and message you provide to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, take steps before entering into a contract. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries. We delete the data once the enquiry is resolved unless statutory retention duties or a legitimate need to retain it apply.
For the contact form on the “Erstgespräch” page we process the details you enter: your name, email address and your message. You may also optionally provide a phone number for a callback; that detail is voluntary and used only to call you back about your enquiry. The enquiry is also stored on our server so that it is not lost if email delivery fails. We do not pass it to third parties. No fields beyond those shown are required; please do not send sensitive data through the form.
4. Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
Google Analytics 4 sets cookies and collects usage data only after you give consent (Google Consent Mode v2). If Google Tag Manager is configured, its container must contain only analytics tags that respect this choice. Google Ireland Limited provides the Google services; Google LLC may also be involved depending on the processing. The service helps us understand site usage and improve the website. Data may include online identifiers, device and browser information, pages visited, interactions, referrer information and approximate location. GA4 may use cookies such as _ga (to distinguish users) and _ga_* (to persist session state). Google lists a default lifetime of up to two years; this may be changed in Analytics settings or limited by browser settings.
Consent is the legal basis for storing or accessing information on your device under section 25(1) TDDDG and for the related processing under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time for the future using Cookie settings. Data may be transferred to Google entities outside the EEA, including in the United States, depending on the processing. Where applicable, Google relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or other appropriate safeguards; see Google’s information on international data transfers. The Analytics user-data retention period is the period configured in the Google Analytics property.
5. Cookies and consent choices
We use only storage that is technically necessary to provide a function you request, unless you choose optional analytics. Consent is requested and managed through the consent manager Complianz. Your choice is stored in first-party cookies (cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_policy_id, cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics and cmplz_marketing) for up to 180 days. These cookies are technically necessary to remember your decision. Google tags use Google Consent Mode v2: all consent signals (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) default to denied and are set to granted only after you consent. No analytics cookies are set without consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting optional cookies does not restrict access to the site.
6. External links
External services are not loaded merely because you visit this website. If you follow an external link, your browser connects to the destination provider, whose privacy notice then applies.
7. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise these rights, email amin@saidani-engineering.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live, work or consider an infringement to have occurred.
8. Supervisory authority
The supervisory authority for a controller established in Saxony is generally the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner.
9. Security and updates
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. We update this notice if the services, processing purposes or applicable requirements change.
